Our Advanced Life Support training.
Our Clinical Educators are accredited with Resuscitation Australia to deliver ALS1 training. Courses are designed for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics and other clinical staff.
Advanced Life Support 1 (ALS1)
Resuscitation Australia have developed a mixed mode Advanced Life Support course which comprises of mandatory eLearning followed by 4 hours of face-to-face training. The course covers the following;
- Recognition and assessment of critically ill patients
- Management of the deteriorating patient
- Airway management techniques
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Defibrillation
- Cardiac arrest management
- Effective team dynamics
