Our Management of Medical Emergencies in Radiology course equips healthcare teams with the skills needed to respond effectively to sudden medical emergencies in imaging settings. Focusing on a team-based approach, the training enhances existing skills while emphasising clear roles, communication, and coordinated care.

Key areas covered include:

• Anaphylaxis and reactions to contrast dyes and sedation
• Cardiac arrest management, including team CPR and defibrillation
• Airway management with i-Gel devices and ventilation
• Identification of shock, hypoglycemia, syncope, seizures, and stroke
• Use of emergency medications (adrenaline, steroids, fluids, glucose)
• Crew resource management and functional group coordination
